Principal’s Message

Welcome to Holman Middle School. At Holman, after a very different school year with months of virtual school and then a return with only some of our Huskies in the building, we are ready to come back and welcome all of our Huskie students and staff. Stemming from this idea, our theme this year is Better Together. I look forward to seeing our Huskies each day in the hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, in the car line, or on the bus ramp. I also look forward to each of our Huskies contributing as an important part of a connected and inclusive community. The 2021-22 school year will be great because we are Better Together!

Holman Middle School has established a strong reputation for academic excellence and student engagement. Our staff continues to work hard producing authentic and engaging lessons and fostering a positive experience for all our students. In the classroom, students will continue to connect and learn through deeper learning experiences and teachers will challenge them to grow academically.

Holman Middle School will continue to make every effort to foster a positive middle school experience and celebrate student success. We offer a variety of clubs, extra-curricular activities, and athletics. We celebrate the successes of our students who exhibit our PBIS core values of commitment, integrity, respect and responsibility. Students are recognized in a variety of ways including students of the week, “PAWSitively awesome” emails, Student of the month, and a Huskie Values Quarterly Program.

Middle school is an opportunity for students to learn and grow as young adults. Through our Holman Committee for Inclusion and our No Place for Hate program, with the support of a caring staff, we will model respect for others and teach kindness and acceptance. The importance of the social and emotional development of our Huskies will be valued this school year through advisory lessons and our commitment to the Holman Community.

By continuing our focus on academic excellence, celebrating student success, and promoting an inclusive environment, we all support the Holman vision that All students will grow academically and as independent learners in a safe and inclusive environment to become life-ready.

I look forward to the 2021-2022 school year with the entire Holman community of students, teachers, staff, and families because I know we will be

Better Together!
